Phil Mickelson's record at Cog Hill isn't very impressive,TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver but he isn't exactly trying to better familiarize himself with the course's nuances.
Mickelson will tee it up Thursday in the BMW Championship without having played a practice round on Cog Hill this week.

The WGA elected to use Mickelson to entertain donors and sponsors of its Evans Scholars Foundation in a BMW skybox after one of his rounds this week. The pro-am “shift out” is a new option tournaments have as part of the PGA Tour’s new value-sponsor program this year,Callaway Diablo EDGE Irons according to Vince Pellegrino, the WGA's vice president of tournaments.
